| | | Materials from the NSLC library collection can be circulated only to Learn and Serve America grantees and staff of the Corporation for National and Community Service.
Borrowing Instructions:
- Sign and return a Loan Agreement Form. (An
authorized person such as a Project Director or Supervisor must sign
the loan agreement form and be responsible for any materials borrowed
from the NSLC.)
- Fill out a Materials Request Form indicating which items you'd like to borrow.

- Borrowing term is one month.
- You may check out up to three items at one time.
- If you need specific materials by a certain date, please reserve them at least one month in advance. Please contact us by email at circulation@servicelearning.org to verify availability.
- Materials will be shipped via three day UPS outside of California, and by UPS Ground within California.
- Materials should be returned via UPS, Federal Express, or USPS insured mail.
- Return materials to NSLC at 4 Carbonero Way, Scotts Valley, CA 95066.
- The borrower is entirely responsible for all materials checked out until received
back by the NSLC.
- If any materials are lost or damaged, the borrower will be charged the full cost of replacement plus a $5 replacement
fee. The minimum replacement cost is $10 per print item and $20 per video.
- If materials are overdue, a monthly reminder notice will be sent. After the third notice, your agency
will be billed for the items.
- PLEASE RETURN YOUR BOOKS ON TIME SO THAT OTHERS MAY BORROW THEM!

- Journal articles and book excerpts in the NSLC collection can be photocopied
upon request. (Copyright restrictions may apply.)
- Please check your request to be sure it is an ARTICLE OR CHAPTER ONLY. No copying
of entire books or journals.
- This service is available to all clearinghouse users. Please contact us for fee
information.
- Materials may be protected by Copyright Law (Title 17 U.S.Code). The National
Service-Learning Clearinghouse will not knowingly violate the Copyright Law.
